JEDDAH, 25 December 2003 — Saudi Arabia has given $15.4 million (SR57.75 million) to the Palestinian National Authority to support its budget, according to Faisal Tarrad, the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the Arab League. He reiterated the Kingdom’s support for the Palestinian cause and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
