In a move set to widen the company’s client base in Saudi Arabia, EMC has appointed the Riyadh-based National Technology Company (NTC) as its partner and value-added reseller across the Kingdom. The appointment demonstrates EMC’s ongoing commitment to provide quality information management solutions and services to Saudi medium-to-large enterprises, which have demonstrated phenomenal demand for data protection technologies over the past few years.

“The Saudi storage market is poised for tremendous growth, with many service providers, particularly telecoms, utilities and energy companies, currently evaluating their storage capacity and planning for their future business needs. NTC is investing considerably in boosting its storage capabilities so that we can provide EMC solutions rapidly and in a manner that integrates seamlessly with customers‚ existing systems,” said Mansour Al-Misfer, NTC’s Managing Director.

With the steady increase of storage requirements in Saudi Arabia, the EMC-NTC partnership is expected to reap demonstrable benefits by delivering positive market share figures.

“Given its sound track record in the Saudi IT market, NTC is an ideal partner for us in Saudi Arabia,” said Mohammed Amin, regional manager, EMC Middle East. “This partnership will enable EMC to complement its existing market share in Saudi Arabia’s most prominent industry sectors, while capitalizing on new opportunities throughout the Kingdom.”

In order to enhance its service levels to customers in the Kingdom, NTC is investing in an extensive training scheme for its technical team on the entire EMC product range. The program ensures that all NTC staff members have the necessary level of expertise to offer world-class storage consultancy services.
