Birth in Ambulance

JEDDAH, 5 February 2004 — A Saudi woman from Kamil village, 90 kms from Makkah, gave birth inside an ambulance van while en route to the Hera General Hospital, Al-Madinah reported yesterday. The woman’s family called the ambulance after the health center in the village told her that the birth was imminent. The mother and baby are in good condition, the paper added.
