JEDDAH, 18 February 2004 — Filipino architects in the Western Region, registered or not, are invited to attend the 4th general meeting of the Institute of Overseas Filipino Architects (IOFA)Jeddah Chapter on Feb. 27.
A press release of the group said the meeting will be be held from 7 p.m. at the Orient Pearl Restaurant in Balad.
Unregistered non-members are also encouraged to join the organization and avail themselves of the group’s continuing education programs.
The Institute is making representations with Manila to include architects in future licensure examinations in the Kingdom.
The chapter’s current officers are Kunugaranao Mapandi, president; Wenceslao Coderes, VP Research; Freddie Lagrana Jr., VP Internal; Ronelio Carreon, VP External; Ibrahim Macadato, treasurer; Paul Antiporda, auditor; Clarie Macaraya, PRO; Arthur Olipas, business manager; Sainoden Bato and Gerald Salamera, coordinators; Edris Tamano and Gil Raz, advisers, and Yusoph Taha, secretary.
