Probe Launched

DAMMAM, 13 March 2004 — The Saudi Fertilizer Co. has launched an investigation into the death of an employee in its Jubail factory early this month. Essa Al-Khalaf from Al-Ahsa, a father of four, died of suffocation in an ammonia factory, according to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper. The company’s director Abdullah Sulaiman Al-Humaid told the paper he expected the investigation to be closed within three weeks.
