ALKHOBAR, 28 March 2004 — A team from the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh will be in Alkhobar on April 1 and 2 to provide consular services to Filipinos in the Eastern Region, an official said yesterday.
Labor Attaché Delmer Cruz said the team will be holding office at the Al-Bustan Hotel from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 1 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 2.
The Embassy on Wheels program will offer passport renewals, document authentication, and assistance to nationals. Labor-related issues will be handled by the POLO-OWWA led by Cruz and Supervising Welfare Officer Sotero Tornea, Cruz told Arab News.
Cruz said that no voter IDs will be distributed at the Al-Bustan Hotel because they will concentrate on consular services. Voter IDs are being distributed only at the International Philippine School in Alkhobar.
