NEW YORK, 30 March 2004 — Jarrett Jack scored a career-high 29 points to lead Georgia Tech to a 79-71 overtime win over Kansas in the St. Louis Regional final of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament Sunday.

In the Atlanta Regional final, Luol Deng grabbed 19 points to guide the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils to a 66-63 victory over seventh-seeded Xavier. Duke (31-5) now faces Connecticut in the national semifinal in San Antonio Saturday. Jack produced a fine performance and dominated in overtime to send the third-seeded Yellow Jackets to the Final Four for the first time since 1990, and the second time in all.

Fourth seed Kansas were hoping to advance to the Final Four for the third straight year. Jack finished up 8-for-12 from the floor and added nine rebounds and six assists. He also hit four free throws in the final minutes.
