ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy participated in the international maritime defense exhibition DIMDEX 2024 in Doha on Thursday, the army’s media wing said in a statement, which was also attended by key decision-makers in the maritime defense industry.
DIMDEX is attended by key decision-makers and industry leaders in the maritime defense and security industry. It provides an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their latest, state-of-the-art technologies and products to high-quality industry personnel to initiate significant deals and partnerships.
“Pakistan Navy’s ship PNS Tabuk and submarine PNS Khalid took part in the defense exhibition,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Qatari navy officials and Pakistan’s defense attaché welcomed the Pakistani submarine and ship when it arrived at the Hamad Port in Doha, the ISPR said.
Members of the Pakistani delegation met Qatari navy officials and those from other friendly countries, the army’s media wing said.
“Matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation were discussed in the meetings,” the ISPR said.
High-ranking naval officials, including the Russian navy’s commander-in-chief and the Turkiye’s fleet commander visited PNS Tabuk, the army’s media wing said.
