JEDDAH, 9 April 2004 — The SkyFreight Forwarders, Inc. bowling team emerged as the week’s best team performers in the 3rd week of the hotly contested Monday Night Bowling League at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Alley.
Stars of the show, Hero Garcia played brilliantly in last week’s action when he powered the SkyFreight Forwarders team for 49 points.
Garcia’s three game series scratch of 640, helped SkyFreight’s team grab the bowling limelight. Along with Garcia who tremendously supported the SkyFreight were Danny and Louie who carded a separate series scratch of 594 and 588 in three matches while Villavelez and Toledo scored a separate series scratch of 584 and 524. The SkyFreight Forwarders garnered an overall total team output handicap of 3,038 points.
The National Commercial Bank team mentored by Hashim Guinomla snatched 42 points. Guinomla led with a three game series scratch of 616. Bien Hermosura followed Guinomla by knocking-down a series of 582. Jerriel Cacao and Terry Naorbe together with FTBJ secretary-general, Luis Luna contributed a separate series of 547, 500 and 483. The National Commercial Bank squad compiled an overall team output handicap of 2,974 pinfalls.
The Al-Mutawer team sealed 38 points through the sterling performances of Faisal Mahmoud by tallying a series of 578 in three outings. Badr Banjer scored 568 series while Zaki Yassin had a series scratch of 536 in three games. Ahmed Tringgano and Ibrahim rolled a series of 483 and 477.
Cee Bee Aviation Co. team keglers recorded 28.5 points and at helm was Emil Payongayong with 562 series. Danny Bautista sizzled to score 562 points while Mar Lapena, Voi Ycong and Benjie Domado chipped-in a separate series of 523, 518 and 506. Cee Bee generated total team handicap outputs of 2,782.
The Stars of the Jeddah Lanes took a total of 28 points and at the limelight was Ahmad Sindi with 584 series. Khalid Shabu, Ghassan Al-Masry and Mamdou Ali hammered a series of 570, 537 and 512. Ghareed added 396 series.
