Austria Eyes More Joint Ventures

JEDDAH, 26 April 2004 — Austria, which already has 12 joint ventures in the Kingdom, is currently studying the prospects of establishing more ventures and expanding the two-way trade. The mission, led by Horst Machu, Vienna-based director of trade for Middle East and Africa, which arrived here Saturday, had a meeting with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry and attended a reception hosted by Austrian Consul General Hartwig Seuchter yesterday. The country’s joint ventures are mostly in the construction sector.
