Wajahath took aerial route couple of times in their delightful and strokeful innings as other batsmen that followed cashed in on the fine start. Farooq Gul, playing some scintillating strokes in his unbeaten 64 runs off 49 balls, and Kamran, smashing an unbeaten 33 off 23 balls, and Mr. Extras 33 lifted Mehmood Saeed to 289 for 4 in 35 overs. SGB Baroom got a big jolt when their opener Shoeb was hurt while trying to hook the bouncer of Contraco seamer. But the "little master of Jeddah" carried on and proved to be the best batsman in the city with a courageous 98, while holding on like a rock at one end. Manjeet Kumar managed 20 but other batsmen fell cheaply. Later Waseeq, who remained unbeaten on 57, pulled his team around. Zeeshan scored 30 valuable runs as SGB managed to score 239 for 6 in 35 overs. Mohsin Mirza grabbed 2 wickets while Kalim, Irfan and Siraj managed to take one wicket each.
