Yemeni Worker Robbed of SR15,000

DAMMAM, 19 May 2004 — Two armed men robbed a Yemeni worker at a store in Al-Dawaser, Al-Yaum reported. The two youths entered the shop carrying an ax and demanded the worker, identified only as Al-Qadi, hand over all the cash. Al-Qadi was struck in the head with the ax when he resisted. He is being treated at Dammam Central Hospital for a skull fracture and bruises to his face and hands. The robbers stole SR15,000 from the store but were later arrested by police.
