New School Gets Ready for Influx of Students

JEDDAH, 30 May 2004 — One of the newest schools teaching the Philippine curriculum in the Kingdom is in the thick of preparations to meet an increase in the number of students enrolled this school year.

On its 2nd year of operation, the Bader International Filipino School in Jeddah is currently conducting in-house training to its faculty and staff and at the same time hiring additional teachers.

School director Helen A. Kiritharan said additional classrooms and school facilities are also being prepared as part of their continuing effort to provide through quality education.

Classes are to start on June 5 in all levels, from nursery to high school.

Operating under a licensed issued by the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia, Bader International is in the process of getting accreditation from the Department of Education in Manila to teach the Philippine Curriculum.

Bader’s principal is Mrs. Nenita Palmero, who was once the principal of the bigger IPSJ.
