JEDDAH, 3 June 2004 — Maintaining skills and acquiring new knowledge are among the key responsibilities of an electrical practitioner, in relation to the rapid changing pace of technology, techniques, and information.
To supplement such need, the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers in the Western Region will come up with a seminar titled “Harnessing the Innovative and Creative Skills of Electrical Practitioner” tomorrow at the Al-Harithy Hotel.
The daylong seminar will be highlighted by presentations on subjects such as management and leadership, instrumentation controls, and environmental impact assessment.
“The lectures and workshops will emphasize the fact that in electrical technology, there is no such thing as half measures and no substitute for best practices in the electrical technology,” says Apolonio E. Patricio, current president of IIEE-WRSA.
Apart from the seminar, the organization will hold its general membership meeting.
New products will be displayed during the seminar in addition to abstracts and treatises from experts on electrical technology.
