Word ‘Terrorist’ Has Lost Its Meaning

Have you ever wondered how wires become entangled when left together? It seems they have a life of their own and move to twine themselves around each other in a way that makes your life miserable when you need just one of them. I remember my science teacher explaining it to me at school. I have forgotten what he said or simply found his answer wanting.

I remembered this problem as pictures of the Russian school horrors beamed into our lives and into our corrupted existence. The madness of theological elitism has caught up with us, and what we silently nurtured over the decades has tasted blood and will not cease until you put a stake through its heart.

There is a lady writer who had written about Jews drinking the blood of children. Now that we have visual proof of who is actually doing it, what would that venerable Hera have to offer in way of explanation?

She probably is one of those wires left in a dark corner of our lives and found herself entangled with this holier-than-thou approach to life. The rest of them have become a knot that rivals the Gordian one in complexity. You know, of course, what happened to that one: Alexander cut through it with his sword.

These vipers have entwined themselves around a misconceived theological concept under our own eyes and with the blessing of the majority. They ruled the dunes before taking to the waves and now they are killing children in a Russian school. What for? A life of misery in the land of beard — or under the banner of sanctity? Or is it liberty from an enemy who exists in our hallucinations and darker egos? To kill a child is a crime beyond redemption and beyond explanation.

In the darker eras of our human history, child sacrifice was practiced. Of late archaeologists found a cache of child skeletons in Carthage in what is believed to have been a temple to such a dark god. The three monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) have purged that horror when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son and then ransomed him with a ram. This signified the end of darkness enveloping the human spirit as theologians from the three faiths keep saying.

Obviously, the darkness is beyond the streaking light of the ram’s path, and the evil beyond Beelzebub and Baal. This darkness is metamorphosing into a plague where the word “terrorist” has lost its meaning. A terrorist, by definition, is a human being. That is not acceptable anymore when applied to those who perpetrate such horrors. They have managed to redefine our languages and we risk having them redefine our existence altogether.

A one-time “terrorist” will one day sit at the negotiating table and conclude a peace of some sorts. Who would sit with these people? Who can fathom and call upon the providential patience needed to look them in the eye?

As they pop-up on the surface of this planet and wreak havoc and sow pain, a layer of our cosmetically formulated skin is shed. We are getting close to exposing the bone. We have allowed this cancer to grow. Those responsible will be held in guilt by God and history.
