JEDDAH, 2 November 2004 — Turkey, whose bilateral trade with Saudi Arabia has crossed the $200 million mark, is leading a delegation of 100 businessmen to showcase its products and services for two days at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jeddah from Dec. 7.
“With oil revenues on the upswing, we feel this is the right time for our businessmen to visit the Kingdom and engage in one-to-one talks for furthering the mutual trade and investment interests,” Ismail Ates, commercial attache at the Turkish Consulate General, said on the sidelines of a reception hosted by Turkish Consul General Hilmi Dedeoglou to mark the country’s national day on Friday night.
The visiting delegation will also hold a seminar showcasing Turkey’s specialist products and services, as well as expertise in various engineering and technological fields.
