JEDDAH, 5 November 2004 - A new of Board of Directors has been elected by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers chapter in Jeddah (PSME-WRSA) for year 2005.
The successful candidates are Ernie C. Cala, Willie C. Leoncio, Joemarie B. Acebuque, Joey A. Arellano, Mike T. Viado, Jonathan B. Francisco,Jr., Domie L. Visaya, Napoleon M. Cepriaso, Rey Anthony C. Mejia, Joselito L. Bentulan, Joel L. Luat, Jerwynn M. Fernandez, Tony K. Acosta , Froilan G. Miro and Rainier P. Patawi.
They will be inducted into office during the chapter's 5th Annual Convention later this month, the group said.
One of those elected, Joemarie Acebuque, was recently named "Most Outstanding Member" for year 2004 by the PSME National Board of Awards and Recognition during their 52nd Annual National Convention in Manila.
Before the election, which was held on Oct. 21 at Sunset Hotel, chapter members were treated to a technical seminar by ARJ (Ahmad Ramadan Juma Est.), which also presented its product, ABS and LOWARA Pumps.
The PSME regularly conducts technical seminars as part of its professional enhancement and continuing program education for its members.
Earlier, members attended a seminars on UNIPIPE by MTTS and Pneumatics Control and Design by Festo-ARCOMA.
