Pilgrims Urged to Leave After Umrah

RIYADH, 9 November 2004 — The Passport Department has urged all pilgrims who have come from abroad to perform Umrah to leave the Kingdom before the expiry of their visas, the Saudi Press Agency reported quoting an official statement. The department warned that violators of the rule would face punishment in accordance with the law. It also urged Saudis and expatriates not to transport or give refuge or jobs to overstayers.
