JEDDAH, 9 December 2004 — The 11th Seiko-1st Bison Energy Drink & 19th FBA Basketball Tournament successfully ended after three months of grueling and exciting games at Ittihad Club stadium here.
The managers and coaches of the 32 participating teams also expressed their appreciation and congratulated the members of the organizing committee for the success of the event.
Mohammed Ali Taleb, who represented Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Hussaini & Hussam S. Salahi on behalf of Seiko Watches also congratulated FBA President Gil Manese, Commissioner Lito Martin, Tournament Director Mahmood Protacio, Technical Consultant Teody Chongco, Operations Director Lando Santelices and the rest of the organizing committee for a successful tourney.
Other prominent figures who attended the awards ceremony were Yaseer Hussein of Bison Energy Drink and Akram Sha’ar of Elaf Travel & Tourism.
Officials from the Consulate General of the Philippines in Jeddah headed by Administrative Officer Mohammad Taha Guinomla, representing Consul General Pendosina N. Lomondot and Nasser Munder of the POLO (Philippine Overseas Labor Office) also graced the occasion and led the distribution of awards as follows: Inter Company Bona Fide Division A — Champion Team ( Goody), Ist Runners-up (HHA-Mazda) of Stephen Cain, 2nd Runners up (El Khereiji Co.) of Tata Halili, 3rd Runners up (Al Bayt Décor), Best Coach — Dick Cruz and MVP Eufimiano of Goody
Inter-Company Bona Fide Division B: Champion Team (Bentley’s-Naghi) of Aldin Mina and Danny Leguins, 1st Runners up Seiko-Hanco Maintenance of Edgar Ainza, 2nd Runners up (Saudi Archirodon — SARCO) of Willie Corpuz and 3rd Runners up (ALJ — Abazeer Beautiful Health) of Ms. Vicky Masdo). Best Coach Ed Santos of SARCO, MVP Richie Estrada of Seiko-Hanco.

Open Rated Division: J.C. Martin of Boy Kowloon Ongpoco won over the Ay Sarap Restaurant team of Ronald Mangoa and went home with the Champion Trophy.
Best Coach is the multi-awarded coach of Jeddah.
