SR1.12bn for Jeddah Sewage Network

JEDDAH, 22 December 2004 — Two contracts worth SR1.125 billion for the implementation of the sewage network in the north and central parts of Jeddah were signed yesterday by Water and Electricity Minister Abdullah Al-Husayn in the presence of Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed.

The project calls for the import of pipes and the building of subsidiary networks. It will be executed in 30 months. The area covered is bound to the north by King Abdul Aziz International Airport, to the south by Abdullah Al-Sulaiman Street, to the east by Jeddah-Makkah Expressway and to the west by the Corniche.
