JEDDAH, 30 January 2005 — Al-Hilal host Al-Ittihad today at the Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Stadim in Riyadh in the King Fahd Cup soccer tournament.
The lone game to be played is actually the postponed match between the two sides last month.
The regular tournament schedule on Wednesday pits Al-Riyadh against Wehda in Riyadh and Al-Taie against Al-Shabab in Hail.
Hilal with 32 points in 14 games are on top of the 12-team pack.
Ittihad are looking to add three win points to their tally of 25 points in 12 games, two behind Hilal.
Both teams are missing the services of many important players either national team duties or injuries. Ittihad is slightly in better condition because Ittihad will benefit from the services of Marzooq Al-Otaibi, Saeed Al-Wadani, Sami Shas and the defender Basem Al-Yami.
