RIYADH, 2 February 2005 — A convicted murderer was executed in Buraidah yesterday. According to a statement from the Interior Ministry, Saudi national Hamoud Al-Omar was sentenced to death for killing Sultan Al-Harbi with a single shot from his pistol.
