BHOPAL, 14 February 2005 — To do something unique and excel is a human trait. But people adopt strange ways to excel and be counted. Such is the feat of Jai Narayan Bhatti, a professional hair dresser of Bhopal, who has cut the hair of 1,800 people in a matter of 171 hours. With this unique achievement, he has entered the list of Guinness Book of World Records for maximum number of hair cuts in record time. Bhatti cut the hair of 1,800 people since Feb.4. Bhatti had earlier made a record in the same discipline by cutting hair continuously for 108 hours. Right from Friday morning, Bhatti’s Dream Rajasthan Parlor at local Berkhera Market here was the center of attraction as it was the last day of his record-breaking feat. The last hair he cut was of Bhopal Mayor Sunil Sood. His tonsorial effort produced as much as 18 kilos of hair.
