“My main purpose in joining the contest is to help the organization — Cebuano Speaking Organization in Saudi Arabia (CSOSA) — to raise funds. I would like to thank all those who supported me. Without their support, I don’t think I could win,” Alzate said.
Engr. Ruben and Erlinda Alzate echoed the gratitude their daughter expressed for the people who extended their help.
“To our kumares, relatives, kalilala, and friends, out there who helped — thank you — very much,” they said.

These projects include helping distressed workers at the Philippine Consulate, providing the seed money for C-GMA donate a school room program, and many others.
The same officials said that preparations for the coronation night is underway and is scheduled on Feb. 24 at the Nayong Pilipino restaurant.
