KUNDUZ: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 646 food baskets to returnees, internally displaced persons, and vulnerable families in Kunduz province, Afghanistan, benefiting 3,876 people.
This distribution is part of the Food Security and Emergency Project in Afghanistan.
The Kingdom continues its ongoing humanitarian efforts through KSrelief to support the Afghan population and ease their suffering. Earlier, the Emergency Response Project for Cholera in Yemen supported by KSrelief, provided medical services to people.
The project targeted areas most affected by the outbreak, aiming to reduce infection rates and curb the spread of cholera through preventive measures, including the deployment of specialized medical teams to screen and monitor travelers at air and land entry points. These efforts come as an extension of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role in supporting Yemen’s health sector and limiting the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases.
