Car Thief Caught Red-Handed

JEDDAH, 3 March 2005 — A small family waiting inside a car was surprised when a stranger got in and drove off, Okaz daily reported. The man of the family had parked the car outside a grocery store to buy something and he left the engine running with the family inside. The car thief, who was later caught, took advantage of the running engine without noticing the family inside. The thief was shocked when the man’s wife and children, who were in the back seat, started screaming. He was forced to abandon the car but was caught by bystanders. He was promptly handed over to police.
