JEDDAH, 10 March 2005 — Bankable Rudy Punzalan flashed his deadly form to lead the Cee Bee Aviation Co. to the best team of the week award with 46 points during the 14th session in the Al-Mutawer Monday Night Bowling League here.
Punzalan shot a solid series of 701 including a game high of 264, and 202 and 223 in the first and third games.Danny Bautista added 640 series, with a high game of 243, while Emil Payongayong chipped in with 650 that included a game high of 241.Paul Antiporda and Lavern Laderas tallied 629 and 616 points while Ed Karganilla added 495 points.
The Cee Bee Aviation had an overall total team output of 3,250 points. The Star Search scored 37.5 points and saw the multi-titlist Cris
Villavelez topscore with 638 series.Abet Sarte and Danny de Guzman,likewise,sizzled to post a separate series of 629 and 628.Hamza Sinno carded 601 while Johnny Diores and Hero Garcia toppled 581 and 549 points, respectively.
Val Magsino hit 659 points, including 249 game high to help Powerhouse Pringles Chips to collect 33.5 points. Mamdouh Ali and league chair Igna Salgado each had 590 and 580 while Benjie Cyls and Jun Lasaga toppled 568 and 551.The Pringles Chips registered overall total team output of 3,077 pinfalls.
The Bison Energy Drink notched 30.5 points through the sterling performances of Andy Erena (670), Jaffer Al-Katheri (657) and Hisham Kabber (642). Rene Martinez and Toto Lim garnered 540 and 535 while Mar Clifford downed 502 points.
Ace Hashim Guinomla once again displayed his brilliant games to help the National Commercial Bank post 29.5 points.Guinomla shot lines of 215, 278 and 247. Gil Ordonez and Bien Hermosura shot a series of 606 and 599 while Terry Naorbe and Luis Luna had 529 and 475. The Saudia Boys snatched 26.5 and the leading point makers were Sid Sagum (652), Louie Bautista (606), Rico Nery (595), Jun Pilipina (548), Alex Flora (522) and Ed Karganilla (495).
