ALKHOBAR, 30 April 2005 — The British Trade Office, in conjunction with the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has announced that senior representatives of the British Offset Office will be holding a presentation “The Offset Program — Supporting Project Opportunities in Eastern Province.” The presentation will be at the chamber of commerce this morning from 9-11:45.
The purpose of the presentation is to outline the background to the British Offset Program, provide details of successful economic projects that have been implemented in Saudi Arabia and highlight further opportunities that are being explored in the agricultural and manufacturing sectors, but particularly in the downstream petrochemicals sector. Speakers from the British Offset Office include Gary Bonsall, head of British Offset, Chris Jones, director of Petrochemical Office and Adrian Price, manager of Petrochemical Office.
