BEIRUT, 31 May 2005 — Lebanese singer Alissa is scheduled to hold a charity concert in Kuwait, from which proceeds will go directly to the St. Jude Foundation. Presently, Alissa is in Tunisia for a performance at the Abu Nawas hotel; after that, she will go to Cairo at the end of the month for a live concert at the Cairo Opera House which will be broadcast by Infinity television and Egypt’s local television network.
Rotana music channel will continue to air her new clip “Hubbak Waja” (Your Love is Painful).
The clip was filmed in a Beirut suburb and it took three days.
Alissa’s manager is holding negotiations for her performance at the Jordanian annual Summer Festival in Jarrash and in Tunis at the Carthage Festival.
After a successful partnership lasting for years, Alissa and Jan Marie have separated with Alissa’s latest release “Ahla Dunia” (The Perfect World) being their last collaboration.
