RIYADH, 16 June 2005 — The Philippine Civil Engineers, Inc. — KSA Riyadh Region Chapter (PICE) will hold three-Friday seminar on “Modern Application in Sewer Design and Construction” starting tomorrow.
George Manlangit Jr., the chapter’s vice president for education, said participants will be oriented about the latest trends in sewer design and construction the in Saudi Arabian environment.
Manlangit said the group has invited as resource speaker Rolando D. Almonte, who has a 26-year experience in sanitary work, a President Gloria Macapagal New Hero Awardee for 2003, and a three-time winner of the Saudi Ministry of Water and Electricity’s “Outstanding Employee” (1996, 2001 and 2002).
The event will be held on June 17, 24 and July 1 from 4-9 p.m. at the White Palace Hotel on King Abdulaziz Road (formerly Old Airport Road).
