Female Wrestling Takes Place at Wedding Hall

JIZAN, 13 July 2005 — A group of women transformed a wedding in Jizan into a wrestling arena, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. A woman — who triggered the fight — noticed another woman taking photos with her cell phone camera. More than 20 women were engaged in a group fight. The chaos spread outside the wedding hall when men refused to allow women outside until they found out who took the photo on a smuggled in cell phone camera. Five police cars arrived and arrested many of the women who were making trouble.
