Six Firms Compete to Develop Jeddah Airport

JEDDAH, 1 August 2005 — A number of Saudi and international companies are competing in developing Jeddah International Airport, Eqtisadiah reported. The project includes developing runways and passengers’ halls. The first stage of the project is scheduled to start by the end of this year. All offers submitted by the companies would be studied carefully by the Civil Aviation Presidency to determine the company that wins the development project.
