Here Comes the Bride... in a Donkey Cart?

AHSA, 17 August 2005 — A newlywed couple insisted on traveling in a donkey cart on their wedding day in Al-Ahsa, Al-Madinah daily reported. The groom decorated the donkey cart with flowers and lights. Guests were surprised but had no choice but to drive slowly behind the donkey cart to the place where the ceremony was held. The groom considered it a night to be remembered forever. He wanted a return to old traditions. Bystanders were surprised at the couple in the streets and took pictures of the strange and unusual wedding.
