HP has appointed Anil Gandhi as GM, Personal Systems Group (PSG) for the Middle East. With more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Gandhi will focus on extending HP’s PSG market leadership across the region.
Gandhi, a pioneering figure in the regional IT scene, was the first GM of Hewlett-Packard in the Middle East, a tenure that ran from 1995 to 1998. This instrumental position followed his work with HP distributors Imtac and Emitac between 1987 and 1995. Gandhi relocated to HP Canada in early 1999 and headed-up multiple leadership roles including the management of the Channel and PSG businesses and most recently, VP of Operations IT.
As the new GM, Personal Systems Group, Gandhi accepted the role with great respect for the winning efforts of his colleague Hazem Bazan, who successfully combined the PSG role with his current position as Solution Partner Organization (SPO) Manager HP Middle East.
“HP’s Personal Systems Group has achieved great results in the Middle East under the guidance of Hazem Bazan,” said Gandhi. “I’d like to thank him for taking on the responsibility of the GM position above and beyond his role as SPO manager. I now look forward to growing and extending the business to ensure continued profitability and world-class levels of customer satisfaction.”
