RIYADH, 22 September 2005 — Twenty-two Saudi companies will offer investment projects in the first franchise meeting in Riyadh next week, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. The minister of commerce and industry will sponsor the event. Ahmad Al-Dayed, general manager of the Small Establishment Center in the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that the meeting would discuss the absence of a clear franchise system, the lack of available information, the lack of legal experience in franchising and the absence of a list of available franchises
