The Saudi British Bank (SABB) has donated 3,000 school bags as its contribution to the School Bag Scheme to Orphan Care Charitable Society (INSAN) to mark the commencement of the new academic year, according to SABB Chairman Sheikh Abdullah-Al-Hugail. “The donation, which is in line with its role as an active supporter of charitable causes in the Kingdom, is under SABB’s initiatives for community support and forms a part of its corporate social responsibility program, where the focus is on providing support in education, environment and community, a step which illustrates SABB’s corporate leadership and its investment in the community, which is fundamental to the future productivity and growth of the country’s economy,” Al-Hugail said. Al-Hugail has received a letter of appreciation for SABB’s initiative from INSAN Security General Dr. Homoud ibn Abdulaziz Al Badr. “SABB is committed to sharing its success with the communities and eagerly joins hands with government and national agencies in undertaking humanitarian causes,” he added.
