RIYADH, 26 September 2005 — Riyadh Governor Prince Salman yesterday instructed municipal authorities to name the park to be established at the site of the Equestrian Club in Malaz after King Abdullah. Covering an area of 318,000 square meters, the park is designed as a landmark in the heart of the capital.
A consultancy firm is finalizing the park’s plan in preparation for inviting tenders to implement the project, according to Riyadh Mayor Prince Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad ibn Ayyaf.
