ALKHOBAR, 3 October 2005 — Filipino community leaders in the Eastern Region are asking compatriots in the Kingdom to help locate an OFW who had been reported missing for the past five years.
Rosauro Limbo Novilla, 43 years old, 5 feet and 9 inches tall and also known to his friends as Alex or Rambo, has stopped calling or writing to his family five years ago and nobody has a clue of where he is, according to his auntie Lagrimas (Sarah) Limbo.
Limbo, a dressmaker in Dammam, told members of the Embassy on Wheels who held office last weekend at the Al-Bustan Hotel in Alkhobar that his nephew was last known to be working with a pest control company in Riyadh.
She said but efforts to identify the man’s address or contact number were futile.
Limbo could not recall if they had reported the case in the previous years with the embassy.
“His mother is very sick and she wanted to see him on her last days,” Limbo said. She said Rosauro is the only son of her sister Amor Novilla.
Rosauro left behind his wife Divina and three children in Lucena City, 100 kilometers southeast of Manila.
The All Filipino Community and Sports Commission (Afcscom) in the Eastern Region is assisting Limbo in looking for Rosauro Novilla through its huge network of community groups.
Afcscom members also contacted their colleagues in Riyadh and Jeddah to help.
Lagrimas, or also known as Sarah, can be contacted at her mobile at 05024-29325 or through her husband Ejaz Ahmad at 03-8427959.
Information can also be sent directly to Rosauro’s mother Amor Novilla in Philippines through her mobile number +639104-086650.
