Al Ajou, a Saudi consumer electronics, IT, and telecommunication company, unveiled the latest series of digital video camera from JVC at Jeddah Sheraton on Sunday. “The new Everio G eliminates the need to carry tapes, discs or any media at all, yet can record up to 24 hours of video movie-quality through a built-in hard disc,” Reda El-Hajj, GM sales and marketing, Said Ahmed El-Ajou Trading Corp. LLC (SATC), told a press conference. The built-in hard disc is an “exciting innovation” that offers consumers not only superior quality video recording capabilities, but also the convenience of not having to worry about tapes and discs. The new G series camcorders record to a built-in hard disk drive and will be available in 20 and 30 gigabyte versions, offering unprecedented camcorder storage capacity.
