Saudi Investor Takes Stake in Spain’s Firm

MADRID, 27 October 2005 — Saudi investor Mansour Ojjeh has acquired a stake of just over five percent in Sos Cuetara, the Spanish food group said on Tuesday. Sos Cuetara said it had been notified by Ojjeh’s company Mao Holding (Cayman) Ltd. that it owned a stake of 5.09 percent. At current market prices, the stake is worth about 70 million euros ($83.67 million). Ojjeh is also chairman of TAG Group, which has investments in TAG Aviation, the McLaren formula one motor racing team and property assets, Sos Cuetara said in a statement.
