MP Criminal Suspected of Blasts Involvement

BHOPAL, 8 November 2005 — The Madhya Pradesh Police suspect the involvement of notorious criminal Saleem alias Sallu alias Salar from Ratlam in the recent serial bomb blasts of New Delhi. Sallu is also suspected of being involved in several bomb blasts in Madhya Pradesh. The Delhi police has posted a reward of 50,000 rupees on Sallu, while the Madhya Pradesh police has offered 15,000 rupees. Sallu’s involvement is suspected because the sketch prepared by Delhi police resembles that of Sallu. A team of Delhi police had visited Ratlam a couple of days ago to get information about Sallu. According to Additional Director General (Intelligence) S.K. Raut, Sallu is wanted in bomb blasts since 1988.
