MADINAH, 16 November 2005 — A SR2,000 camel ended the financial problems of its owner after being sold for more than SR75,000, Okaz reported. The owner had to sell the camel in order to settle his debts. He took the camel to market, thinking he might get SR3,000. A businessman however, offered him SR15,000 for the animal. The owner was about to agree when another man offered more than SR15,000. The competition continued until the price reached SR75,000. The buyer explained the high price by saying that it was a very rare kind of camel.
