JEDDAH, 23 November 2005 — Citing fears of player exhaustion, Ittihad club President Mansour Al-Balawi has requested postponement of three Saudi soccer league matches involving the team. The request was made to officials of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare asking them to consider the situation being faced by Ittihad who will be traveling to Japan by early next month for the World Club Championship. The matches Ittihad want put off are against Al-Ahli, Al-Qadisiya and Al-Ansar.
