Shabab to Sign Landomar

RIYADH, 30 November 2005 — Al-Shabab Club is considering to sign Brazilian striker Landomar as replacement for Atram, who has been sidelined by injury, a source from the club said on Monday. Landomar, who had joined Shabab and Al-Ittihad earlier, will don the club’s colors even before a deal is finalized.

Abha Sign New Coach

ABHA, 30 November 2005 — Abha have officially signed Brazilian Kalabir to coach the team for the rest of the season. The deal is worth half a million riyal. Kalabir had coached Al-Riyadh.

Ittifaq Fire Coach

DAMMAM, 30 November 2005 — Al-Ittifaq fired its coach following poor results throughout the season. Omar Bakheshwain, the former captain, has been asked to take over till a replacement arrives.

The club is looking for a new coach and is most likely to sign Tunisian Murad Mahjoub.

Marzooki on the Card

JEDDAH, 30 November 2005 — Ahmad Al-Marzooki is expected head of Al-Ahli Club following the resignation of its former President Abdul Razzak Abu Dawood, an insider in the club said. All members of the club are backing Marzooki. The club will hold another meeting in 10 days, and an announcement of who is to succeed Abu Dawood will be made after the meeting.
