Nurse Assaulted for His Work as a Journalist

TAIF, 13 December 2005 — A male nurse assaulted a colleague who was working as a part-time journalist, Okaz reported. The attack occurred in front of witnesses inside the hospital where the two men worked. The assailant stabbed the victim in the head and the hand. The man was transferred to the emergency room in the same hospital for treatment. According to a police report, the assailant claims he had wanted to harm the victim for a long time because of the victim’s unfavorable coverage about Taif as a journalist.
