JEDDAH, 23 December 2005 — Effat College announced its partnership with Al-Alya’a Training Center as they both work together in embedding the curriculum of CISCO Certified Network Associates (CCNA).

As Effat College is a CISCO regional academy, it provides technical support to training institutions, called “Local Networking Academies”.

Al-Alya’a center launched its programs in 1999 to help Saudi women overcome computer illiteracy.

The objective of CISCO’s Networking Academy Program is to prepare graduates for networking and IT-related jobs in the public and private sectors.

Staffers at Al-Alya’a Training Center hope that with Effat College and CISCO they could be in the forefront of training women in networking in Saudi Arabia.
