1.5m Copies of Qur’an to Be Distributed

JEDDAH, 30 December 2005 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has ordered the distribution of 1.5 million copies of the Holy Qur’an. The copies of the holy book will be distributed in the Kingdom and abroad as gifts. Saudi embassies abroad and a number of Islamic institutions in the Kingdom will get the copies of the Qur’an for distribution. The copies to be distributed include translations of the Holy Qur’an in English, French, Greek, Spanish, Urdu, Turkish and many other languages.
