NEW DELHI, 14 August 2006 — India’s National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) was reconstituted with former Army Chief Gen. (retired) V.N. Sharma, former air force Chief S. Krishnaswami and former RAW head A.S. Dulat figuring in the key 19-member organization. Former Atomic Energy Commission Chairman M.R. Srinivasan and ex-Special Director of Intelligence Bureau S.P. Talukdar have also been included in the multidisciplinary body headed by former Foreign Secretary M.K. Rasgotra. The NSAB provides inputs to the National Security Council, helping it in forming policies on issues like foreign affairs and defense.
