RIYADH, 17 January 2006 — Abdul Rahman Al-Jeraisy chairman of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and chairman of Saudi-Chinese Business Council, said that arrangements were being made to hold an economic meeting with Chinese businessmen on the sidelines of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s visit to China. “Deals and commercial cooperation between the Kingdom and China continue and there were agreements made during the Chinese Products Exhibition held recently in Riyadh for Saudi businessmen becoming agents for Chinese products,” said Al-Jeraisy. He emphasized the Saudi investor’s interest in bolstering non-oil Saudi exports to China especially carpets, dates and electrical supplies.
