RIYADH, 30 January 2006 — Capital Market Authority (CMA) website Tadawul won distinguished Internet website for electronic business which is presented by Ministry of Communication and Information Technology for best Saudi electronic websites on the Internet. General Manager of Tadawul, Abdullah Al-Suweilmy, received the award from the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mohammed Mulla.
Mobily Introduces New Service
RIYADH, 30 January 2006 — Mobily has introduced a “credit transfer” service whereby all Mobily prepaid subscribers can independently transfer credit from their mobile to another prepaid customer. With this service, subscribers can help their friends and family when they run short of credit, or cannot get a recharge card at that moment, a Mobily press release said. The service, which has been tested by Mobily over the last few weeks, is now active officially. Credit transfer doesn’t require any pre-activation. Mobily is offering the service free of charge and it is available only for prepaid subscribers. In order to transfer credit, senders must have enough credit in their account. Maximum amount of transfer (sending) per day is SR100, while minimum amount of transfer (sending) per transaction is SR5.
